Growing up, the dinner fable conversations in my house weren’t about how our day was – they were about roofing headaches, flaky clients and my stepfather’s never ending grind in his construction business.
I watched him trade weekends with his kids for last-minute offers and chase down clients who might never pay – even after decades in she had her hands full with interior design projects and was drowning in work instead of doing what she loved.
As a little boy, I couldn’t be happy, when the people that raised me and gave me everything I wanted were sliently suffering….
During such moments, slowly but surely a weird drive was waking up inside me – I just wanted to help them make their businesses more simple for them.
That evening wasn’t like the others I was sitting in the dark with a desk lamp being the only source of light of the entire room as I was mapping out every common problem i had seen across those construction businesses that day.
